The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is offering a resource guide – Developing a Stigma Reduction Initiative -- as part of a major national campaign to increase awareness of mental health disorders among young people in the African-American community. The guide provides information on how to mount a statewide anti-stigma campaign, examples of outreach materials, reports on best practices for stigma reduction, and resources for technical assistance.
