Mental health checkup and depression screening initiatives are being developed and implemented by health professionals across America. Providing mental health checkups and/ or depression screening in medical settings strengthens the idea that mental and physical health are equal contributors to a young person’s overall health and development. Whether you are a doctor, a nurse or other health professional in a clinic, hospital or primary care setting, you can help bring mental health checkups to your setting as a part of routine healthcare for adolescent patients.
The TeenScreen National Center for Mental Health Checkups offers medical providers free access to evidence-based resources to provide annual mental health checkups and/ or depression screening to adolescent patients as part of their routine healthcare.
Sign-up to receive FREE implementation materials, which consists of the TeenScreen Primary Care Pocket Guide and copies of an evidence-based screening questionnaire.
